The thirteen lady by José Carlos Somoza
Since the book is about women and poetry I just couldn't stop thinking of the poem below and listening to sad violin songs XD

She Walks in Beauty
SHE walks in beauty like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies,
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes;
Thus mellowed to the tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.
One ray the more, one shade the less
Had half impaired the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress
Or softly lightens o'er her face,
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling place.
And on that cheek and o'er that brow
So soft, so calm yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow
But tell of days in goodness spent
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent.

The power of words
We are masters of the unsaid words, but slaves of those we let slip out.
The last few days I've been finding several videos and material in one of my long forgotten Animes. The name is "Loveless" and I watched it about three years ago. I was at first attracted to it due to the fact that it dealt with Shounen-ai themes, but what drew me further into it was the power that "Words" had inside the world the story was placed in.
In the story words are used as weapons, the more beautifully composed your words were the more lethal, the shortest the more poisonous and the deeper and kind the most powerful.
And indeed one of the most appealing things about Loveless is the choice of words and the deep sentences that the characters use talk to each other, knowing that each one of those words carries a powerful meaning within, a meaning that could be misunderstood leading to sadness, conflict and even death.
And today I wondered, just how important are words in our day to day life?! Would they like in this manga poison us little by little, shatter us inside, touch us, make us cry, love and want?! And my answer was yes, people always say that actions matter more than words. But just how many time have you forgotten what something did but you've remember something they say.
The first spoken "I love you" is more often remembered than the hug that means the exact same thing.
Or if you were fighting with your best friend, what would hurt more, a slap in the check or the words "I hate you" from their mouth.
As much as people try to minimize the true power that words have in our systems, it's still there, every time we listen to a song, every time we read a book, recite a poem or simply hear someone say anything to us.
Watch your words as much as you watch your actions. they could be both used as swords.
Peace.
Angel
PS: Here is an example of a Loveless fight ^^

I was at first attracted to it due to the fact that it dealt with Shounen-ai themes, but what drew me further into it was the power that "Words" had inside the world the story was placed in.
"the power of words in creating our reality, the meaning of memory, the strength of family, and the loss of innocence"
Please, Please.
Don't cry like that.
I'm going to go mad.
I don't want to see you...
I need to see you again.
I'm sick from it.
Because as soon as we have to say goodbye...
I want to die.
And today I wondered, just how important are words in our day to day life?! Would they like in this manga poison us little by little, shatter us inside, touch us, make us cry, love and want?! And my answer was yes, people always say that actions matter more than words. But just how many time have you forgotten what something did but you've remember something they say.

"Most words are easily forgotten but the ones that stay in our minds remain engraved in our heart forever"
